CII Proposes Establishment of National Industrial Land Council
New Delhi: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has proposed the establishment of a National Industrial Land Council (NILC). This council would serve as a platform to reform land-related regulations currently in force across all states, oversee their implementation, and act as a mechanism for dispute resolution. The CII suggested that this council should function on a nationwide scale, similar to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system. These recommendations were put forward in a report submitted by a committee led by Tata Steel MD, T.V. Narendran. A Win for Kolkata
