CM Meets Governor: Discussion on MLC Approvals?
Telangana: CM Revanth Reddy met with Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today at the Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. It is reported that he requested the Governor to approve the names of Prof. Kodandaram and Azharuddin as MLCs under the Governor's quota. It is understood that various other issues were also discussed during this meeting. Azharuddin, who is currently not a member of either legislative house, continues to serve as a Minister. If he is not elected as an MLC by the 30th of this month, there is a possibility that he could lose his ministerial post.
