Controversy over Class 8 book.. Center responds!
It is known that there has been strong opposition to the newly included ‘Corruption in the Judiciary’ syllabus in the NCERT Class 8 Social Science book. CJI Justice Suryakant also expressed objection to this, and central government sources responded. They said that they have decided to remove the controversial topics. They felt that such syllabus should not be included, but should be replaced with inspiring topics.
