Maharashtra: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Cyclone 'Shakti' warning for some districts in Maharashtra, warning of a high to moderate cyclone between October 4 and 7. According to the release, this warning covers Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg. Winds of 45-55 kmph, gusting up to 65 kmph, are expected along the northern Maharashtra coast between October 4 and 5. Depending on the intensity of the cyclone, wind speeds may increase.
