The demand for LPG cylinders in India has increased due to the Iran war. In some places (Uttar Pradesh), the price in the black market has reached ₹1,500. In the backdrop of the war, when the price of a domestic cylinder increased by ₹60 on March 7, people started panic buying in fear. Due to this, huge queues are seen in front of gas agencies. To curb this situation, the government has brought a rule that there should be a gap of 25 days between bookings of 2 cylinders.
