Cylinder price increased 100 times in 60 years!
Domestic LPG cylinder prices in the country have increased drastically in 60 years. The price, which was only between ₹7 and ₹10 in 1960, reached ₹913 in Delhi by 2026. The price, which was ₹120 in 1990 and ₹400 in 2010, has become a huge burden on the common man today. This increase is seen due to changes in international fuel prices, changing subsidy policies & inflation. It is noteworthy that the price of a cylinder has increased almost a hundred times in the last six decades.
