Digital Health Cards for 6.5 Million People: Revanth
Telangana: Chief Minister Revanth stated that healthcare services should not be mechanical but must instead be delivered with a sense of humanity. He directed doctors in the private sector to work at government hospitals for one month out of every year. "We are currently compiling health data for 6.5 million people across the state. We will issue digital health cards to them," he announced. He further mentioned that the government intends to provide life insurance coverage to 13 million families. He also noted that special attention is being focused on cancer treatment.
