‘Digital Life Certificate’ campaign for pensioners
The Centre will launch a Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign for pensioners. The programme will be conducted from November 1-30. 19 banks that provide cash to pensioners, including India Post Payments Bank, will participate in this. 1.8 lakh postmen/Gramin Dak Sevaks will go to the house of each pensioner and generate a digital life certificate. Normally, pensioners themselves have to go and submit a life certificate every year for pension.
