Dornakal-Gadwal Railway Line Survey Completed: Ashwini Vaishnaw
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the survey for a new 296-km railway line between Dornakal and Gadwal has been completed. This line will pass through Suryapet and Nalgonda. The project is expected to receive clearance following the submission of the Detailed Project Report (DPR). However, it was noted that traffic volume is relatively low on the Jadcherla-Nandyal line. Although some projects in the state are facing delays due to lags in land acquisition, 67% of the required land has been acquired so far.
