Face-based Attendance in Degree Colleges
Visakhapatnam: Officials are preparing to implement a face-based attendance or facial recognition system (FRS) in colleges affiliated with Andhra University. The Council of Higher Education recently issued directives to implement FRS in higher education institutions starting this academic year and to take the necessary measures to facilitate this. Andhra University officials have accordingly informed the colleges under their jurisdiction.
