Farmers Urged to Protect Crops Amid Dry Spell
Banaganapalle, Aug. 4: Agricultural scientists from Nandyal Research Station and Mahanandi Agricultural College advised farmers to adopt drought management practices during visits to Pasupula, Patapadu, and Yagantipalle villages. They recommended spraying balanced fertilizers and potassium nitrate on rain-fed crops to reduce moisture stress and urged farmers to avoid heavy investments. The experts also suggested planning drought-tolerant crops for the upcoming Rabi season.
