Fee Reimbursement Cancelled for Those Without 75% Attendance!
Telangana: The government has decided to make facial recognition-based attendance mandatory in both government and private degree colleges starting from the upcoming academic year. It has mandated that students with less than 75% attendance must not be permitted to appear for examinations; furthermore, their scholarships and fee reimbursements will be cancelled. Additionally, officials have decided to issue the 'DOST' notification—for degree admissions—on the very day following the release of Intermediate examination results. Students are also set to receive free study material on the very day they enroll in college.
