Fertilizer prices likely to increase!
The central government has revoked the Basic Customs Duty (BCD) exemptions on key raw materials used in fertilizer manufacturing, such as ammonium phosphate, ammonium nitro phosphate, and potassium sulfate. This will increase the cost of manufacturing complex fertilizers like DAP and NPK. We import most of the raw materials for phosphate and potash-based fertilizers from abroad. In this situation, there is a chance that fertilizer prices will also increase.
