Thiruguvarm festival today in Medaram
Telangana: The Thiruguvarm festival will be celebrated today for Sammakka-Saralamma at the Medaram and Kannepalli temples. This festival is celebrated a week after the commencement of the Maha Jatara. Priests will purify the temples, light lamps and incense, offer offerings, and perform special prayers. On the day of the Thiruguvarm festival, tribal and non-tribal devotees will visit the goddesses and offer their prayers. With this festival, the Mahajathara puja ceremonies will be completed.
