Fertilizers Now Available via App
Amaravati: To curb irregularities in the sale of fertilizers, the government is implementing a digital mechanism. An application has been developed with the objective of controlling illegal diversion, non-agricultural usage, black marketing, and purchases exceeding actual requirements. The Department of Agriculture has introduced this digital system to ensure the delivery of subsidized fertilizers to genuine cultivators—including tenant farmers—and to effectively monitor fertilizer usage.
