FIR Against Rahul
Haldwani: A case has been registered against senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The police filed the case based on a complaint lodged by Amit Kumar, a member of the local 'Sri Ram Sena Dharmarth Seva Samiti' and belonging to the Valmiki (SC) community. A political controversy had previously erupted over the ritual purification of the dais where Congress chief Kharge had participated in an event. Speaking on this matter recently, Rahul demanded that an SC/ST Atrocities case be filed against those who performed the purification of the stage.
