The RBI revealed that India's foreign exchange reserves decreased by $6.711 billion to $717.064 billion for the week ended 6th of this month. This is due to a decrease in gold reserves of $14.208 billion to $123.476 billion. The previous week, foreign exchange reserves had increased to a record high of $723.774 billion. The RBI stated that although they have decreased slightly, they are still strong overall. It was also said that foreign currency assets increased to $570.053 billion.
