'Fuel Switch' problem in Air India flight!
A pilot on an Air India flight from London to Bengaluru detected a defect in the fuel control switch. The alert authorities immediately grounded the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. They are getting it checked by the aircraft manufacturer (OEM). The matter has also been brought to the attention of the aviation regulator DGCA. It is known that news reports indicated that the Ahmedabad plane crash last year, which resulted in 260 deaths, was caused by fuel switch problems.
