Gas Bookings Decline: Centre
The Central Government has stated that the demand for LPG gas cylinders has decreased across the country. It reported that daily bookings are currently hovering between 46 and 50 lakhs. The Centre further noted that the supply of cylinders remains steady, with no shortages reported anywhere. It also revealed that the supply of petrol and diesel is proceeding normally. Meanwhile, with Iran and the US moving closer to a peace agreement—and the consequent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz—the country is set to be spared from potential LPG supply difficulties.
