Domestic gold prices have recorded a sharp rise due to factors such as falling US Treasury bond yields and a weakening dollar. According to the 'Good Returns' website, as of 12:0 AM on Thursday, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold in Hyderabad and Vijayawada stood at ₹1,59,270. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-carat ornamental gold was ₹1,46,000, marking an increase of ₹3,950 compared to the previous day. Silver prices also saw a significant hike, recording an increase of ₹10,000 per kilogram.
