Harish writes to Rahul regarding Section 22A in Telangana; levels severe criticism against the Congress government
BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao wrote a letter to senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, alleging the misuse of Section 22A in Telangana. He highlighted rampant corruption within the Revenue Department and demanded the dismissal of Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, who is facing corruption allegations. He clarified that Section 22A was enacted to prevent the registration of prohibited lands, not to facilitate extortion by creating artificial disputes over private properties.
