New Delhi: The Central Government has reconsidered the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from China. The government intends to allow investments from companies where Chinese investment in foreign companies' equity does not exceed 10 percent under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Jai Prakash Sivahare, Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Promotion and Internal Trade (DPIIT) said that a notification will not be issued soon in this regard.
