GST amendment will only benefit states
Hyderabad: The 'Ecorap' report recently released by the State Bank of India says that the states are likely to benefit net from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) revision. While all the states are worried about the issue of whether the reduction in GST rates will be a gain or a loss, SBI has revealed key facts. It is known that in the GST Council meeting headed by Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the council decided to remove the 12 and 28 percent sections and keep only the 5 and 18 slabs.
