Havoc Caused by Rain and Gusty Winds
Heavy rains accompanied by gusty winds wreaked havoc in the erstwhile Nalgonda and Adilabad districts. Downpours occurring late Thursday night and Friday evening resulted in significant damage. Hyderabad, the state capital, also witnessed torrential rain on Friday evening. The famous pilgrimage site of Yadagirigutta was also battered by the rain; devotees scrambled for shelter when a heavy downpour struck suddenly around 6 PM on Friday.
