He borrowed money from a friend and bought a lottery ticket.. and won!
Amit Sehra, a vegetable trader from Kotputli in Rajasthan, won Rs. 11 crore in the ‘Punjab State Diwali Bumper Lottery- 2025’. Since he did not have money to buy a lottery ticket, he borrowed Rs. 1,000 from his friend. Sehra said that he is giving Rs. 1 crore as a gift to his friend's daughter as a token of gratitude after winning the lottery recently. He said that he will use this money for a house, children's education, and future.
