Israel has also stated that it will no longer launch attacks in Gaza. It is moving towards implementing the first phase of Trump's peace plan. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has openly praised US President Donald Trump for his efforts to restore peace in Gaza.

In a post on social media, PM Modi wrote, "We welcome President Trump's leadership for the decisive progress in peace efforts in Gaza. The signs of the hostage release are an important step. India will continue to strongly support all efforts towards a lasting and just peace."
Trump presented a peace plan.
In fact, Donald Trump presented a peace plan to end the two-year war between Israel and Hamas. Hamas stated that it was ready to release the hostages and hand over power to other Palestinians, but other aspects of the plan required further discussion among Palestinians.
Trump welcomed Hamas' decision, writing, "I believe they are ready for a long-term peace." He wrote on social media, "Israel must immediately stop bombing Gaza so that the hostages can be released safely and quickly. Continuing the attacks at this time would be too dangerous."
