Washington: US lawmakers have dealt a blow to President Donald Trump regarding a potential war with Iran. A resolution opposing war was passed in the House of Representatives. It is noteworthy that the resolution—opposing the President's decision—was approved despite the ruling Republican Party holding a majority in the House. The resolution, introduced on Wednesday (local time), received 215 votes in favor and 208 against.
