India abstains from voting on Russia-Ukraine 'ceasefire'
On the fourth anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war, a ceasefire resolution was introduced in the United Nations Security Council. India abstained from voting on it. While 107 countries supported this resolution proposed by Ukraine, 51 countries, including India and China, did not participate in the vote. The resolution demanded that peace be established in accordance with international laws and the release of prisoners of war.
