India refuses to accept the trophy
Team India refused to receive the Asia Cup trophy. The decision was taken because they did not want to receive it from ACC & PCB Chairman Naqvi. Only Man of the Match Tilak and Man of the Tournament Abhishek spoke at the presentation ceremony. Pakistan captain Salman received the runner-up cheque. None of the Indian players received awards or medals. The ceremony ended without Surya's interview and trophy presentation.
