IndiGo CEO resigns
IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers has resigned from his post. He said that he resigned due to personal reasons. The board has approved this and IndiGo Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will take over temporarily in his place. This resignation has become a topic of discussion in the wake of criticism over the cancellation of more than 2,500 IndiGo flights in December. The Center imposed a penalty of ₹22 crore on the company in January over this crisis.
