Internal Rifts Flare Up in BJLP
Internal differences have erupted within the BJP Legislature Party (BJLP). A heated argument broke out among MLAs on Friday right inside the BJLP office located in the Assembly lobby. Assembly staff were taken aback to see MLAs arguing while the House proceedings were still underway. It is reported that some MLAs expressed anger, alleging that only two members were speaking in the House and that they were not being given an opportunity to speak. One MLA reportedly questioned why they were being denied the chance to address the House, asserting that they, too, are elected public representatives.
