**How the Indian national died**
The UAE Ministry of Defence claims that Iranian cruise missiles targeted its vessels. According to the UAE, Iranian missiles struck two of its tankers in the 'South Channel,' resulting in the death of a seafarer. The Ministry stated that the missiles targeted the tankers 'Mombasa' and 'Bahia' as they were transiting the southern lane in Omani waters. An Indian crew member on the 'Mombasa' was killed in the attack, and eight others were injured; four of the injured are in critical condition. The injured include six Indian and two Ukrainian nationals.

Reports indicate that the Iranian attack caused fires and damage to both tankers, though the blazes were subsequently brought under control. The UAE Ministry of Defence has condemned the attack, terming it a serious violation of international law that threatens regional security and stability. He had also stated that the US would levy a 20 percent "security fee" in exchange for ensuring the safety of vessels.

In doing so, it will uphold its sovereignty, security, and stability while safeguarding its national interests. The Ministry of Defence also stated that it is fully prepared to deal with any threat and is taking all necessary steps to give a strong response to any attempt to undermine the country's security and stability.
