Karnataka Minister Nagendra Resigns
Bengaluru: A major shake-up has occurred in the Karnataka Congress government. Nagendra, the Minister for Planning and Statistics, has resigned from his post. He revealed that he had submitted his resignation letter to CM D.K. Shivakumar. Nagendra faces allegations regarding the Valmiki Development Corporation funds scam. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has named him as a prime accused in the charge sheet filed in this case. Consequently, opposition BJP and JD(S) leaders demanded his resignation, creating a situation where stepping down became inevitable.
