Marine Gas Turbine Repair Center in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: The country's first private-sector Marine Gas Turbine (MGT) repair center is set to be established in Visakhapatnam. To this end, Bharat Forge has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government. This center will be constructed across an 80-acre site within the Naval Dockyard premises here. In addition to repairs, the facility will undertake the overhauling of marine gas turbines. Furthermore, infrastructure and facilities to facilitate the indigenous development of MGTs will also be provided.
