Massive Earthquake in Indonesia; People Rush Out of Homes
Jakarta: A massive earthquake struck Indonesia's Flores Island early Saturday morning, registering a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale. Consequently, tsunami warnings were issued for parts of East Nusa Tenggara. The US Geological Survey (USGS) reported the event, noting that five tremors occurred within a span of approximately one and a half hours. People fled their homes in panic following the tremors.
