Andhra Pradesh: Deputy CM Pawan said that due to the CM's foresight, a lot of precautions were taken during the cyclone. 'There was a lot of damage in the Panchayati Raj department. Paddy was damaged in 46 thousand hectares and horticultural crops in 14 thousand hectares. We are giving rice free of cost to the cyclone victims. We are providing a maximum of ₹3,000 to each family going home from the rehabilitation centers. We have made water storage impossible by removing the silt from the drains,' he said.
