Mother is a sarpanch, son is a ward member?
Telangana: Khammam(D) Chintakani(M) Raghavpuram village sarpanch post and 2 ward seats have been reserved for SCs. But there is only one SC family (mother Kotamma and son David) in that village. Since the sarpanch post is reserved for an SC woman, Kotamma from Kampalli will be elected unanimously. Also, since the 4th ward is allotted to SC general, her son David is likely to be unanimously elected as a ward member, the villagers say.
