Mukkanti Temple Packed with Devotees
The Srikalahastiswara Temple was packed with devotees on Tuesday. Temple officials reported that approximately 29,000 people visited to offer prayers to the presiding deities. Break-up figures show that 368 devotees availed the Rs. 500 *Antaralaya* (inner sanctum) darshan, 1,324 used the Rs. 200 *Sheeghra* (quick) darshan tickets, and 1,732 used the Rs. 50 special darshan tickets. Regarding the Rahu-Ketu Puja, 2,563 devotees performed the ritual using Rs. 500 tickets, 775 using Rs. 750 tickets, 351 using Rs. 1,500 tickets, 267 using Rs. 2,500 tickets, and 100 using Rs. 5,000 tickets.
