New email IDs coming soon! Google's key decision
Google has announced that it will soon be making a feature available that allows Gmail users to change their user ID. It stated that the old ID will remain active along with the new user ID, and the inbox will be the same. It also mentioned that users will have to wait 12 months to reclaim their old ID. Google advised users whose Gmail accounts are linked to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Aadhaar to proceed with caution. It added that this feature will be rolled out in phases.
