Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have entered into a crucial defense agreement. Under this trilateral pact, an attack by an enemy on any one of these nations will be treated as a collective attack on all of them. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif (currently visiting Saudi Arabia), Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Turkish President Erdoğan signed this 'Mecca Joint Defense Agreement' in the holy city of Mecca. A delegation led by Pakistan's Army Chief, Asim Munir, accompanied Sharif.
