New Delhi: The Centre has clarified that the filling of water in the Kaleshwaram barrages is a matter unrelated to it. It stated that the decision to fill—or not fill—the Kaleshwaram barrages falls within the jurisdiction of the state government. Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil provided this clarification during a meeting with BJP MPs from Telangana. On Thursday, BJP MPs and others met C.R. Patil at his residence in Delhi, led by Union Minister Kishan Reddy.
