New Delhi: It appears the Congress High Command is taking a very stern stance regarding Minister Konda Surekha. Her removal from the cabinet seems almost certain. Surekha, who traveled to Delhi to meet party leaders and offer an explanation, faced an unexpected snub; the leadership showed no interest in even hearing her side. Despite waiting at the AICC office all day, Party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal refused to grant her an appointment.
