Power cuts due to lack of foresight
Hyderabad: BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao criticized the Congress government, stating that the state is facing a power crisis due to a lack of foresight. He alleged that people from all walks of life are suffering due to unscheduled power cuts. He remarked sarcastically that while a power outage used to be "news" during the BRS regime, the situation has now reversed, where the availability of electricity itself has become "news." He attributed the need for power cuts to the unavailability of coal at thermal power stations.
