Prices Hiked Under the Pretext of War: Jagan
Andhra Pradesh: Jagan alleged that the state government has hiked the prices of essential commodities under the pretext of the ongoing war. "Cooking oil prices have been raised by ₹40 per kg, and pulses by over ₹15 per kg. Gas cylinders are being sold on the black market for ₹2,000 to ₹3,000. And now, they are claiming they will supply kerosene," he criticized. "During our tenure, when Mittal Steel proposed setting up a plant, we welcomed them and allocated the necessary land. Now, Chandrababu is trying to steal the credit for it," he stated during a meeting with leaders from Addanki.
