Railways to improve electric traction system on these routes
The Railways has approved the improvement of electric traction system between Guntur-Pagidipalli and Motamarri (Khammam)-Vishnupuram (Nalgonda) sections. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that it has been approved at an estimated cost of Rs. 188 crore. He said that it will be completed in the next three years. These two routes will further speed up the services of goods and passenger trains between the capitals of the Telugu states.
