Relief for small exporters
The central government has taken a key decision to reduce the burden of regulations on small and new exporters. The Commerce Department has announced that there is no need to obtain a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) for export goods up to Rs. 3 lakh. The Ministry said that the DGFT has made appropriate amendments to this effect in the Foreign Trade Policy-2023. This will make it easier for MSMEs, artisans, small businesses and first-time exporters to enter the international market.
