Relief for Stephenson in High Court
Hyderabad: Former BRS-nominated Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stephenson has received relief from the High Court. A single-judge bench issued an order on Wednesday granting a stay on Government Order (GO) 134, specifically in relation to land owned by Stephenson. Stephenson had approached the High Court seeking the quashing of GO 134, which had placed lands belonging to him and 16 other BRS leaders—including KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao—on a "prohibited" (restricted) list.
