Rs 1,414 Crore in Funds for the State
The Central Government has released substantial funds for wage seekers under employment schemes in Andhra Pradesh. The Union Ministry of Rural Development issued orders sanctioning Rs 1,414.16 crore as the first installment for the 2026-27 period under the relevant scheme. These funds will be used to deposit money directly into the bank accounts of workers via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) method. Of this amount, ₹241.54 crore has been allocated for SC communities, ₹78.21 crore for ST communities, and ₹1,094 crore for other categories.
