Rules to follow while cleaning the puja room
According to the advice of scholars, cleaning the puja room on Saturday will bring positive energy into the house. If that is not possible, it can be cleaned on Ekadashi (or) Thursday. After cleaning, sprinkling Ganga water in the puja room will bring blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. Lamps should also be cleaned with water. Idols and pictures of gods should not be placed on the floor. They should be placed on a white, clean cloth. These rules will bring good luck.
