Salima to Lead Team at Hockey World Cup
New Delhi: The Indian team participating in the FIH Hockey World Cup, commencing on the 15th of next month, will compete under the leadership of current captain Salima Tete. The 20-member Indian squad was announced on Friday. The women's team, currently at a training camp in Bengaluru, will compete in Group D alongside China, England, and South Africa in the World Cup. It is noteworthy that the Netherlands and Belgium are jointly hosting this tournament.
